Here's a typical chain that would crop up in the Straight No Chaser which would lead to me making a purchase.
This 1995 example starts with the ad for an album, in this case "London Jazz Classics Vol 3", followed by a good review, then the album showing up on a DJ's playlist, with this one being Matt Hayward in Sydney, Australia - and inevitably resulting in me buying it...the one above being my vinyl copy.
In this instance, however, because I already had Vols 1 & 2 in my collection, I probably would have bought the LP anyway on the strength of the previous pair.
Still, nice to see others give it a thumbs up!
